This was my first Brew pub in Florida and I had to drive 100 miles from one side of Florida to the other to find a Brewery. Micro pub look this was a college bar right next to University of Miami. Good parking found up front or out back. Los of good beers on tap. Had a great lunch the Mojo was very good. The service was very good they had lots of beer knowledge. Talked with the owner and brewer and we talked for good while about the beers in the area. They gave some other suggestions to visit while in the area. This was a nice place I bet it is rocking at night time.

A pubbish sort of place with Titanic memorabilia on the walls. Had 9 house beers, fair to middlin, with a couple of guest taps. The food wasn’t bad - the bisque is way pepper and oversalted but I wasn’t looking for high end cuisine to it was all good. Worth a visit - especially if there’s a nice seasonal on the tap.

One of the few places in Miami where you can get decent beer. Ambiance is like a University bar, full of young college students. Selection is very limited, but their brews are good. Food was very fulfilling.

23FEB08. Little place right next to the University of Miami. Fermentation tanks visible from the bar. They offer a sampler of 6 beers. Ordered a fish sandwich... flavorful, fullfilling, killer fries! 60s Oldies playing. And man, did this place get busy after the ’Canes game was over! We left after that.

Typical character-free modern brewpub with sub-standard service. Beers seem to have improved over the years. Recent samples leave impressive lacing even in the taster glasses. All have nice mouthfeels too and pretty solid palates. There is some potential here for sure. But WTF: none of the beers have any smell and when they do breathe out it’s a little fart. I don’t know if it’s the glassware or what. I’d notice if it were bleach so it’s not that. Mainly it’s just emptiness, to match the ambiance of the bar maybe? Not to be too mean, it’s a pretty chill place and I’m sure I’ll be back more than once.

Live down the road and have been coming here for a while now. The bar and restaurant itself isn’t much to look at...nice... but the beer is solid, and the reason worth going. The food can be pretty good, nice and spicy or not worth it depending on the order. The service is hit or miss, depending upon who is working; either a knowledgeable barkeep or disaffected college student. In the beer wasteland that is Miami, the Titanic is definately worth trying out for solid beer at good prices.

This casual sports bar does emphasize the U of Miami’s sports exploits, but if you’re not a sports fan, all of these televisions on sports channels and UofMiami flags and insignias won’t convince you to spend many hours here. But, the main reason I was here was the beer, and there a few solid hits in their lineup. While the Saison was completely off the mark, the White Star IPA was scrumptious, and the Tripel Reserve and Oatmeal Stout perfectly drinkable examples of their respective styles. Although the atmosphere was soporific and somewhat dingy, I would come back for a couple pints if I were in the area.

The next time the University of Miami is listed as one of the nation’s top party schools, I’m throwing out the magazine. I don’t think the Princeton Review ever rates it highly, but still... Playboy did... once. Miami had unexpectedly beaten Maryland in the ACC basketball tournament and I expected much celebration. This place was right off campus and... NOTHING! Five people there other than boboski, myself and my friend Heather. One of the ugliest bars I’ve been in. Horrible decor. Half Miami Hurricane Football Sports Bar, half out-house. The bartender was the only staff and she was clueless and uninterested. The beer, however, was fairly solid and therefore I can’t totally slam the place. I’ll go back one day, but only for the beer. Not really a bad reason at all, I guess.

Nice lengthy bar. Decor is a bit run down, but you can tell it used to be pretty nice. It gives it a partied in kind of feel. The beer and food were pretty so-so though the former was mostly drinkable and the latter mostly edible. Service was decent. Other than being in the area I really wouldn’t consider it worth a special trip.

Easy to locate off Dixie Hwy just past Uof M. Parking in front. Long wood bar with brew operation behind bar and glass and section of tables for food. Server was freindly and had the sampler of standard six and she let me sample the three seasonals. They had guest drafts and bottle selection. Bar menu with a seafood kicker. Had the calamari and a salad. Very good and fair price. Good change of pace from South Beach crowd.
