fiver29 (9), Strongsville, Ohio does not count | | March 1, 2008 I visited today and they have the best selection of craft beer in the fort myers area. They have quite a few 22 oz bottles and several 12 oz bottles to mix and match in a Total Wine 6 pack box. I picked up some Lagunitas, Chimay, Stoudt, DFH, Great Divide, North Coast, St. Bernardus, and Flying Dog. I also noticed they had Raison D Extra in stock. A staff member asked me if I had any questions. I asked about a double IPA and then he said he didn’t really know anything about the beers there. Worth a stop if you are looking for good beer in the area. | | PorterPounder (160), Tallahassee, Florida | | March 23, 2007 Third visit to a Total Wine. A little less "warehouse-like" than their location in Jacksonville. A few hundred or so singles - found at least a dozen I did not have. No singles in the cooler though. First time I have seen Bell’s in Florida. A few new Belgians I have never seen - such as Cuvee from De Proefbrouweri. Lot of Colorado microbrewers represented. Picked up a few Left Hands and Averys. Worth a stop if in the area. | | tennisjoel (22), Shakopee, Minnesota | | November 22, 2006 I was here on vacation in Feb 2006 and made a stop. I was able to get quite a bit of stuff not available in MN, such as DFH 60 & 90 min, DFH Chicory Stout, DFH Indian Brown, DFH Raisin D Etre, DFH Shelter Pale Ale, Ommegang & Ommegang Hennepin. Big store. | | walleye (14), Sterling Heights, Michigan | | March 22, 2006 was impressed, what a big store gotta love the single section, they have so many to chose from but when I was there a lot of empty spaces where there should have been beer but to their credit they had signs out stating they were out of that beer. I wished I would have had more time to spend in the store but I had my wife waitng in the car. This place is worth the trip and the prices are good. | sirmike (1), Florida does not count | | December 26, 2005 Great selection and good prices on a number of beers. Beer organized by style in singles, six packs, and hard to find kegs can be special ordered. The service however is awful especially if you’re under the age of 30. Expect a huge hassle at checkout; it happens everytime. | | rlinccpa (15), Moline, Illinois | | December 18, 2005 Good selection. Fun place to go for a liquor store. | | BierBauch (16), Cape Coral Waterfront Wonderland, Florida | | December 8, 2005 [ Updated January 31, 2006 ] Finally Ft. Myers gets a good beer selection! This store is huge with an impressive selection of over 500 different beers. Everything is available in singles and the prices are better than any other store I’ve been to in Florida. Shelves are neatly organized by country making everything easy to find. Plenty of Belgians, American Micros and other European brews to satisfy the most discriminating beer geek like myself. And if you like wine, this selection can’t be topped either and at very friendly prices. |
