Iím heading to Jacksonville tomorrow and was looking forward to hitting this place again. Too bad itís gone "tits up!" The beer wasnít all that great, but the food and atmosphere was quite good. I guess Iím limited to Hops and hell, I donít know, Rock Bottom?

This was a nice quiet place to have dinner out on the patio overlooking downtown Jacksonville and the riverfront at night. The beers were average, but the food was quite good, and the portions were reasonable as were the prices.

Housed in the Jacksonville Landing. Boy, did they sink a bunch of money in that hole. Southend Brewery itself is neat, with the big copper brew *thing.* Encased in glass in the middle. Upstairs used to be a nice, riverfront nightspot. Food is pretty good, though overly seasond. On to the beer. They have a few different kinds...all taste distinctly the same as in they arenít very distinctive at all. Iíve heard the beer has gotten better since I have last been

Was here mid-week during lunch. The waiter did not seem to be too helpful with the selection of beers. Was more in to "what color do you want". Had 8 on tap. Food was average, both in the selection and the quality. Great location and view of the river front and landing area

Just like Riverside they have an awesome view, and pretty much no beer selection then your normal average beers, about 6 of them.

You cannot beat the location for this place - overlooks the St. Johnís River in downtown Jacksonville (ok, it is not Paris or anything). It was Monday at lunch when I visited and there was hardly anybody there. The beer was average brewpub quality but had 8 on tap - so there was a good selection. I did not eat - but my friend had the bar-b-que and he indicates it is excellent.
