| patsfan13 (10), Cocoa, Florida | | August 26, 2009 I like to hit C&J for lunch. Their beer is good and their lunch specials are good. | | unclemattie (104), Georgia | | August 9, 2009 It was kinda hard to find while driving down Wickham Rd. Heading south it is on the right. Found down on the north end of a large shopping plaza . Brewing tanks visible from dining area. Sports bar theme, not my bag. Food was pretty simple, good. BBQ pork sandwich was nice and smoke flavored. Low and slow! Beers were the best you’d find in town outside of Cocoa Beach of course. I recommend the Anniversary Ale. Overall, For Brevard Co. it is a diamond in the rough. (123e rating d’établissement) | | Ibrew2or3 (161), Safety Harbor, Florida | | March 16, 2009 Visited 10/08 time frame. It has a warn-in homie look and feel to it with very friendly staff. The people were terrific actually. The food was tasty as was the beer offerings. The beer wasn’t exceptional but was a refreshing departure from the “cookie cutter” and worse offerings I had had earlier south of here. This is a place I will look forward to coming back to and trying some new brew and see how their re-modeling has turned out. | | Sammy (273), Toronto, Ontario | | February 18, 2009 treme Beer place. Everything was high high ABV including a 15% ABV DOuble Trouble barleywine that was very good. When the server warned people it was 30% proof, there was perhaps a hint that the booziness hits like 30% ABV. Middle aged plus hangout, hard drink handlers. Sunlight lights up the place, a very nice paragon bar, tables elsewhere. Worth a stop off the highway for, and then you sleep. | | mgumby10 (47), Jupiter, Florida | | February 9, 2009 Just a simple little restaurant and brewpub. Seats just like a regular restaurant. i was a little disappointed that they only had 4 beers on tap when I was there, although a couple of hem were new at the time. The beer was about as average to below as it gets, although the barley wine was decent. The food was a little better, but nothing special. Good place to visit once, but the service seemd lacking at times as well. | | mabel (134), Toronto, Ontario | | September 14, 2008 Visited early on a Tuesday evening back in December, this was exactly the type of brewpub I was looking for while in town for the week: typical wooden decor, booths about, big ol’ tanks behind the bar, walls full of club mugs, rockin’ 60’s music, not packed, and some fair choices of beer. Service was quite quick, providing conversation and impromptu entertainment while it wasn’t too busy. Food was delish: homemade BBQ sauced pulled pork on garlic buttered toast with a side of cinnamon-sprinkled fried sweet potatoes. Beer selection was fair and drinkable and forgettable, apart from the brown bottom. Overall, a good memory. | | kiefdog (101), Tampa, Florida | | August 31, 2008 Visited on a recent trip to Melbourne. Have 4-6 of their craft beers on tap along with some macros and a few imports. Most of their beers are solid, although not outstanding. Food selection is good and we received a reasonable portion for our money. My biggest complaint is that the beer was served in a frosted mug: which, as we all know, makes it very difficult to really taste the beer. So, when ordering your beer, make sure to ask for a room temp glass. Worth a stop when you are in the area. | | Oakes (421), gone rambling, Vietnam | | June 21, 2008 Bright place with wood floors and the like. I don’t vibe the down home vibe. Brews were all decent but unspectacular, as was the food. Homey service was a nice touch. Good stop to include on a trip up the coast. | | decaturstevo (59), decatur, Tennessee | | February 16, 2008 Standard brew pub. We had the all you can eat fish and it was pretty good. The beer selection (5 taps) was decent no special brews on hand no IPA. An APA that was drinkable. Mostly just decent BP beers that really don’t stand out but are not bad. I would stop here for food and beer before stopping any of the chain resturants. Pretty decent place. |
