A small gourmet shop that has a nice selection of beers.Found some harder to find beers that was not available in Orlando.I visited a few years ago and now notice that they are no longer around.

This was the first place I found, after moving to Tampa that actually has a beer selection. The liquor stores and grocery stores I’d been in to that point were just depressing. Grand Cru has an excellent selection in comparison. They have a couple of beers I’ve never seen anywhere else. The owner is a great guy and ever eager to help out. It has been very tempting to get over there and sample stuff on tap but I just couldn’t make it happen. One of the negatives about going here is the price. The first couple of times I went there and loaded up a sixer of just standard craft beers and it was like, ok, to get this selection in Tampa it’s gonna cost me. I wasn’t getting anything too crazy either. When I did get something crazy (Rochefort Trappistes 10) I was suprised at the register to see it cost me $9.40. Still really nice beer selection plus you can take home some excellent cheese. I’ll certainly be going back when I’m in the area.

Best way to put this is a smaller scaled down version of Total Wine & More a few miles up N. Dale Mabry, but way more pricey and way smaller selection, they do have a room where they have 4 on tap which they pretty much sucked except Delerium Tremens which is usually stale no matter where you get it on draught, I will never go back I know this for sure. Cool concept but the ambiance sucks doesn’t seem like anyone is ever in there to actually wanna stay to drink and hang out, and the prices were too high.

The best beer selection in the Carrollwood area. It also has wine, cigars, and cheese. Its one of those places that you are really lucky to live near. Update Nov. 2006 Grand Cru is no longer in business. This is a tragic loss to the North Tampa Beer loving community!

Great selection of beer and wine. Some of the beer can be dated, but it is mostly fresh stock. They also have 4 rotating beers on draft as well. Last time I was there it was Kostritzer, Delirium, Grolsch and Paulaner, but it is ever-changing. What truly makes this place great is that while it is more of a retail place you can drink on premises and they do provide glassware. So if I go with my wife and some friends thay can crack open a bottle of wine (no cork fee) and I can just pull singles as I please to drink on the patio. Great place to do some rating cause the selection is huge. They also have a world class selection of rare cheeses, finger foods, choclates and cigars. A real hidden jem that I passed about a zillion times without ever going in.

Generally has a pretty decent selection of beer, 250+, although many of the refrigerated beers have been sitting. You can occasionally find some sweet deals though! The Owner, Arthur is nice as hell, and the place is generally pretty quit and quaint.
