Went on a slow Saturday afternoon at about 4PM. Almost nobody was there. Nice tap selection. I got a Maudite, Wolaver’s Oatmeal Stout, and a Fuller’s porter. All those beers were happy hour prices at around 3.50 a glass! Great food menu. Tried the Pierogis and the baked chicken wings. Both were top notch. This is my new pub in Tampa.

A Pub that has 45 taps and a few bottles nothing wrong there. I’ve gone on a couple occasions and seen different selections of beers. The most recent i tried the brooklynator doppelbock, so they keep a rotating stock. The Staff is real friendly and helpful and the prices are outstanding. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

Visited this establishment two times in a 10 day period during late April, 2008. Selection was good but they were out of some of the more interesting beers on both trips. Service was deplorable on both trips: mainly slow response time to the point where I had to search out the server for another beer, glass of water or to order food. I was informed on one trip that the server for the outdoor area did not arrive until 6pm even though they had an indoor server and only two occupied tables (and why couldn’t they help us again?). Bartender seemed more interested in counting tip money than pouring my Wittekerke Witbier or St. Bernardus Abt 12. Most of the people working in the bar seemed to have limited beer knowledge. Many of the beers I have had here on tap taste different (in a negative way) than at other beer bars in the area. Not sure what to make of that. Decent bottled beer selection including the likes of Westmalle, Trappist Rochefort (when available) and others.

Haven’t been to this place since it was Bilmar Station. 45 taps and a good amount of bottles. Prices are a bit on the high side. Nice selection of Belgian taps and a good selection of American stuff, from Lagunitas to Rogue to Bells to Dogfish Head. Didn’t try any food, so can’t rate that part of the equation. I was expecting a bit more, but maybe I’m still chasing Redlight Redlight in Tampa when one clearly doesn’t exist.

Great sports bar, although we deliberately went out of football season and on a sunday afternoon. The four of us had a great time tasting all the beers, and enjoying the quiet, you may guess I am getting old!!!

Dont go on a friday or saturday...Tank has these bad live bands that play and its so loud in there you cant even have a conversation with the person next to you. You get a headache instead of a buzz.

The owner is great and continues to try to make Tank’s better than it was as BilMar. The food is very good for a bar and the beer is among the best in the area. Only real down side is that it attracts even more people from Pennsyltucky to Tampa. Go Bucs!

Ah, the Bilmar... or Tank’s Taproom as its now called. You want the best selection in Tampa? Here it is. Pushing 50 imports on draft and hundreds more in the bottle. A VERY knowledgeable staff and great food. Darts, pool tables, outside seating, jukebox, sometimes live music... They also get a few rare belgian beers on tap every month including the Abt 12.

Worn down atmosphere. Expensive jukebox with a pretty good selection for everyone. Beer list is good, but not great. The staff is mediocre in the "knowledgeable" dept. The disinfectant used for the glasses fucks with the aroma of the beers. However, the food is pretty damn good for bar fare. Also, it’s a WVU Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers bar! Those are BIG redeeming qualities.

It’s cool that this Johnstown, PA native moved down here years ago and decided to buy a bar and make it Steelers Nation! I love it! This is the best non--smoking Steelers Bar for those of us from Pittsburgh (and there is no having to show 1-2 hours ahead because of "reserved seating" for a game. The food is good. The beer list is awesome. The only negative is that the female servers are either too thin, too ditzy or could care less. At least Tank cares and his male staff behind the bar. Keep going! Love it.
