Another great pub! Wish it would lean more to a pub and not to a club type atmosphere. Always have fun whenever I visit!

been here several times now and it’s a mixed bag. they seem to be out of things I’d want quite often and don’t have anything on tap that’s hard to find in florida. the bartenders talk a good game, but weren’t that knowledgeable overall. and sometimes it is more like a club scene. so what’s good about the place? well... they have a bunch of different beers.

We have visited this beer bar dozens and dozens of times in the last 14+ months since it was first opened in 2007. During the early months, this was one of the best places in Tampa to drink exceptional beer and take a few home. However, over the past 6 months WOB has turned into a more of a nightclub that caters to young, rowdy patrons who have little appreciation of beer. After a 3 month hiatus, we decided to give WOB one more chance on a recent Friday afternoon. What a mistake. The place was packed early in the evening, and the music was cranked so loud that I could barely give my order to the server or talk to anyone. Naturally, given that the music was so loud most people were screaming at each other, thus further detracting from the ambiance. The tap selection has deteriorated as well over the past 6 months, and I noticed that there was not one beer on the menu that I had to have because of its rarity or because I couldnt obtain it somewhere else. Given that the Oldsmar Tap House is not far from WOB, I’ll drive the extra few minutes to have truly exceptional beer in an environment devoid of blaring music and TVs where I can engage with others doing the same. Too bad, as this place had a lot of potential when it first opened, but unfortunately, the current owners have chosen what I consider the wrong path.

A little corporate, but what a selection. Cool setting with comfortable seating inside or out. Out door window to the bar. If you are in the area you must go see!

Fantastic selection. Comfortable seating. Great service. Reasonable prices. A must visit for any beer hunter. They have a hard time stocking the local Dunedin and St. Somewhere brews due to local popularity but there’s lots of choices to fall back on.

What a great place to watch a USF game and have some wonderful brews. Also a great selection of bottles to grab on your way home...loved it.

After I came back to this place after being gone for a while, I was a bit disappointed in how it has changed. I came with some friends at peak hour on Friday and between the guy sitting on top of the cooler playing covers and the loud TV’s, it was hard to get my order right. We had to stand outside by the sprinklers in order to hear each other, and it seems more like a night club than an awesome beer bar. I went the next day during non-peak hours and Ryan was there and things got better. He took great care of us, and changed out a few taps and things got better, but again during peak hours things got a bit hairier. Shannon and Ryan took good care of us and all in all the place was pretty good. With Tijuana Flats next door the options are wide open.

Pretty upscale place, but it is in a newer area of Tampa. Wide mix of ages from early 20’s to mid 40’s. Music selections varied through the night. Nice tv’s all around. Beer selection for a "bar" was impressive. The number of fine beers on tap was also surprising. St. Bernardus, Delirium Tremens, Wittekerke, and Red Sky at Night. A little up there in price, but worth it for all these beers in one place. Basically drove from Tallahassee to Tampa for a place like this, worth the drive.

Great selection and service. Helluva taplist. Nothing like sipping on an Abt 12 while sorting through great beers. Dropped nearly $200 on stuff I can’t get on the east coast. Thenks smokey for the help.

took a buddy from out of town - his direct quote "Were sitting here with this much strong beer, looking across the bar at the serious talent along with clientelle plus were sitting here eating hand delivered sushi - Man this place is dangerous"! Nice to see some de Dolle available. For a Wednesday night the place was packed and yes over half females..... need I say more!
