Trippy place, in this new shopping area that has a really weird vibe to it, like you’re dreaming you’re there. Bartender was either cool or an idiot I can’t decide. The seasonal beers were pretty good, which I was happy to see, because the place itself is too strange for me.

Disney-like setting in a brand spankin-new mushroom trip of an outdoor shopping mall. Wouldn’t call it upscale, it’s much more about the Pottery Barn set than the Worth Avenue one. Brewzzi fits in well: it’s got a chain feel to it. However, the West Palm Brewzzi has a few things going for it. A separate outside but sheltered bar is a really nice touch, given that inside is just a big boring brewpub and if it rains you can still enjoy the air. Also appreciated an interesting array of seasonals that differed from the Boca Brewzzi selection and went beyond the typicals to include a hefeweizen, a dubbel, and an oatmeal stout at the time. Not the most solid beers but the effort is at least detectable and here more so than Boca. With both locations, though, I get the distinct sense that the owners are not beer-lovers and are just in it for a business gimmick.

Nice location - City Place is a very elegant, upscale shopping and dining area that is still in the process of adding stores - Ruth’s Chris should be opening soon, as well as several other places. Our service was good, but the waitstaff (we were there long enough to have 3 waiters, as 3 of our party were delayed) knew squat about beer. Still, attentive and nice. Food was very good - far better than the beer. Overall it’s a bit pricey, but the food was well portioned and tasty. Beer, not so much. Pretty blah. One complaint - We ordered saplers, six 6 oz glasses. They only had 4 beers on tap (WTF?) and filled the other two in by adding fruit syrup to their blonde and mixing two other beers for the other. That’s BS. Had I known, I’d have simply ordered pints. Later, when our friends caught up with us, another guy ordered a sampler (against my advice) and we found that they had run out of Fest, so he got THREE mixed beers. That’s some bigger BS, as the waitstaff didn’t even let him (or I) know in advance. Therefore I’m dinging their service in my rating numbers. A higher score would have been given without the brew sleight of hand.

Extremely upscale area where all the shops have lip balm that costs $45. I literally saw cars the manufacturer of which I could not pinpoint...Astin Martin? Rolls Royce? I don’t know because I don’t see many of them. I do know the crappiest car I saw was mine a 2004 4-Runner and I had the privelege of paying $10 just to have it parked 2 feet away.

The establishment is as ritzy as its sourroundings. Very upscale and monied looking with rock accented columns, but with brewery touches like the hammered copper bartop. The burger for all it’s $12 price was pretty pedestrian. The beer was decent to pretty good with the DUnkel probablyt he best and the stout okish. Worth a stop if you are in West Palm, but not a destination in and of itself.

@ City Place upstairs. Service blows. The waitress practicly snatched the wine list from my hands, brought me a different wine she *assumed* I would like because they were out of the reserve. Food was greasy and probably frozen and begs the usage of Tums Tums Tums tums tuuuuums afterwards. The beer I had wasnt bad for a resturpub. They offer a sampler which, because I was feeling fat, did not embark on trying. Prices fair. You come out smelling like resturpub_grease.
