I love this supermarket, so rich with delicacies! The beer selection is not impressive, but still interesting. In March 2008 you can find the Thomas Hardy Ale 2007, Samichlaus 2006, Boon Gueuze Mariage Parfait 2003, a range of Saint-Pierre, La Bière à Frometon, Abbaye Landelin (spelling), a couple of unusual German beers, Aventinus, international trash and a dozen of interesting ciders.

Good prices and suprisingly good selection of Biere de gardes, lambics, and ciders that I have zero change of getting in either Dallas or Los Angeles. Selection was of about 40 different types of beer with a decent amount of French stuff (including about 5 biere de garde), some basic marcros of French and German origins, and a pretty decent selection of British and Belgium offerings (including some very highly rated lambics). Ciders are okay too. Prices are good for beer, but expensive for food and wine. Would, and have, repeatedly gone to this place.

If you ever go to Le Bon Marché department store, you should stop by their grocer: "La Grande Epicerie de Paris". It’s an upscale grocerie store with a suprisingly good selection of beers. The focus is mainly on Belgians, notably the trappists but you’ll also find a decent number of international brews such as Unibroue. The prices are a bit expensive at about 2-3 euros per beer, but that’s half the price most Parisian bars sell them for!
