| lithy (93), Knoxville, Tennessee | | November 17, 2009 Nice place, really good beer, nice that the selection at all the 5 Seasons is different. Didn’t eat but food looked good, service was great for me just sampling, nice wide rim glasses for taster. Had 5 standard offerings and one high gravity offering. Weekly cask that wasn’t on when I visited. Three beers available in bottles when I was there, pricy though 20-25 bucks/750mL. | | Beershine (261), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam | | February 6, 2009 Suburban location detracts. Capacious interior but not enough people inside to make it feel cozy. Mad scientist/artist approach to brewing is much appreciated. | | Oakes (421), gone rambling, Vietnam | | January 29, 2009 Big ski lodgey looking kind of place. The beers were inventive but not always executed well. Service was ok. It was a bit slow when we went, being Sunday night, but worth the trip. | | daknole (90), Plantation, Florida | | November 2, 2008 Great place. The waiter who took care of me was fabulous. Great food and seriously great food. I will go back every time I go to Atlanta! They are opening a new one in Mid-Town fairly soon. | | mcrowther (10), ATLANTA, Georgia | | October 25, 2008 Crawford is one of the best brewers in the USA- do not miss the cask on Thursday. Food is great, the staff knows its stuff. A must for any beer lover. | | Hank1980 (37), Athens, Georgia | | July 17, 2008 [ Updated September 18, 2008 ] Went to 5 Seasons North to help pour at the mini beer fest. While there, I tried a few beers and had some snacks. Overall, a nice place with a good number of beers and good food. This isn’t a place I get to go often, but it looks like they rotate some great beers. This is a great stop if you’re up 400 and looking for good beer (and food). | | wetherel (80), Encinitas, California | | May 25, 2008 Met Atlanta ratebeer crew at 5 Seasons North tasting. An awesome place. Very well laid out. Great large table for tastings/parties upstairs. Friendly brewer and staff. Great food. Excellent. | Wharfrat (2), does not count - explanation | | April 27, 2008 I like the high ceiling, exposed beam, ski lodge atmosphere. The staff is attentive, and the food good.
The Thursday cask night is a chance to try beers that are not on the regular menu. The beers on tap are limited to those brewed here, but have enough variety to satisfy different tastes. | | TheBeerOrg (34), Kentucky | | April 23, 2008 Upscale feeling, lively atmosphere in evenings, while you can still hear yourself think. Fully stocked bar, enthusatic workers, lively atmosphere. Phillips LCDs adorn wood walls with copper bar ceilings. Fox News plays wo/sound. Fully exposed brewery, gleams with polished SS. Centered around high ceilings and fireplace, 5SN has a ski lodge/organic eatery/brewpub feel. Very nice location, beer, and food, prices are on the high end of the brewpub price range. | | NachlamSie (209), Tennessee | | April 15, 2008 I’m a huge fan of 5 Seasons in the ATL, so I had to check out this location. I believe it represents the brand quite well. The lunch was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and presentation. I had very delicious blackened fish tacos while my friend had a tasty shrimp burger. The service was friendly and very prompt. The ambiance is refined and sophisticated without being snooty. I’ll probably stick to the one downtown only because Alpharetta is a bit out of the way from my usual route. |
