June 12, 2009 If you’re a novice or a vetern brewer, this is the supplies spot in North Fulton or for Atlant for the matter. . .Bob and staff are knowledgable and very helpful. Quality and selection are par excellence !
I highly recommend this store. |

April 6, 2008 Great store. The cost to brew has gone up, but that has nothing to do with this store. They have an amazing selection. They are always helpful, and don’t try and persuade you to do anything. You go into the store and tell them what you want basically. I think if you went in there as a first time brewer they would be more than willing to help, but they assume you already know what you are doing, which is great. Some brew stores treat you like an idiot. The owner Bob is extremely nice. The other staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of hops considering the times. A few of there items are awkwardly priced, but I just go there for ingredients not supplies. I would recommend anyone in Atlanta to go to this place. I used to go to Just Brew It, but that is a one man operation, and there is a VERY limited selection compared to Beer Necessities. |

February 13, 2008 I love the new location. BREW DEPOT. It is spacious and has just what I’m looking for. THIS IS MY HOMEBREW STORE. Bob is super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I think I’m going there today...
Plus there is a pretty good deli and Health food store that I always stop at on my trip. |

August 2, 2007 The new store is well stocked, laid out neatly, and Bob and the rest of his staff are always ready to help.
If you have a store like this near you, you are a lucky homebrewer. |

April 15, 2007 They’re in a new location ... bigger, brighter, cleaner, and better stocked. Old place was dump, and this is a huge improvement. Old Alabama Connector/Mansell Rd. If you were turned off by the crew and ambiance of the old slum, might want to give them another try. If they don’t succeed here, they need to find another line of work. |

February 9, 2007 Bob can be rude usually, but is extremely helpful to newer brewers and can answer beginner’s questions quickly and informatively. Prices on instock items are good, but his helpfullness and willingness to order non-stocked items are off-set by the higher prices on ordered items. Definitely recommend for bulk grain purchases. Store is a little crowded and could use more storage, but hopefully him moving to a new location will fix this! |

June 26, 2006 Bob and crew have always been more than helpful to me. I started homebrewing this December with a kit bought from their store. Since then I have done 5 brews and have worked up to partial extract/grain brews with liquid yeasts and added hops.
As I said, the folks are always helpful and pleasant (employees and customers!) |

June 23, 2006 Absolutely rude people. I couldn’t believe how pompous the dude running this pig sty was. Stay away from this dude. I think he is the owner, but I could be wrong. |

January 29, 2006 This is one of the better if not the best homebrew shop in the city. Lots of great information, some things I wish they had a wider selection of, but pound for pound great people and great prices. |

September 26, 2005 [ Updated December 10, 2006 ] Helpful owners, nice selection of recipe books. Not as well stocked as Just Brew It, but this store has everything you need at a good price. If they don’t have something they can order it, but their prices won’t be any better than ordering it yourself. That said, their prices for bags of grain are quite good. They carry only White Lab yeasts unfortunately. Otherwise an excellent homebrew store. |
