6/2/2008 8:33:54 PM, monday, june 02, 2008 Pretty nice brewery. It only costs $8 for a pint glass and 8 ’tickets’ that you use for drinks. One tickets gets you about a half of pint of the lower abv stuff. Two tickets got me a half pint of the Rye Squared. They also had the Rye, Golden, and India-style brown ale. Would’ve have liked to seen Big Hoppy monster or Substance Abuse...maybe next time.
4/4/2008 8:20:28 PM, friday, april 04, 2008 Grand opening event. Was very surprised at the size of the facility. They have the capacity to do a lot with this amount of space. Huge crowd for the opening. Glad to finally taste Sustance Abuse, after much fanfare. I look forward to what this brewery can do in the future with brewing now on the grounds. I could see many future events being held hear with the amount of space they have.
3/31/2008 8:13:12 PM, monday, march 31, 2008 made it out to the grand opening and was very suprised at just how well the whole event was run. Huge space. Nice tap area. Nice gift shop. Had substance abuse, rye squared, and hop shortage + their regulars available. Huge outdoor area that would be great for a feet. Proud of this hometown brewery.
3/6/2008 2:25:00 PM, thursday, march 06, 2008 [ Updated thursday, march 06, 2008 ] This is a microbrewery that is growing but right now they have a small selection.
2/12/2008 7:48:19 AM, tuesday, february 12, 2008 [ Updated wednesday, june 11, 2008 ] Made it out to their tour on 2/11. It’s great that they’re finally brewing and able to host tours and tastings. On 2/11 they had five beers on tap: Rye, Rye2, Imperial Pilsner, Golden, and IBA. They also had live music and a good crowd. I’ll be looking forward to future tours at the new brewery.
