Nice atmosphere, large pool room, TVs at bar and corners of rooms. Food is pretty good. I enjoyed their steaks, mashed skins, and snow peas. Service is good. Not the largest selection of beers but their in house brewed beers are well above average. I recommend their IPA.

Great looking brewery-subsidary of Big River (Chattanooga, TN) along with its sister brewery, Gordon Biersch. Jamie was a knowledgeable brewmaster, no longer with the company. I agree that the beers ’don’t stretch boundaries.’ Good to try once, but not worth going back again unless there’s a noteable specialty or cask event. Too much like a brewpub for tourists that want to learn about beer. The food is definitely that of a corporate chain.

Decent place to hang out when in the Buckhead area. Close to all the hotels down this way. Had a calzone for lunch. It wasn’t served very warm but the bartender happened to be my waiter this particular day. Decent selection of beer, and it’s fairly drinkable. Worth a visit.

The beer was better than average, with a few very good efforts on some styles, such as the Pistripe Pale, and the cask IPA. The sweet stout and pilsner were no slouches either. Lower alcohol consistent with Gordon Bierch. Much better beer than I found at Gordon Bierch, their parents. Beer is an important profit contributor here, the brewmaster Jamie was young and had apprenticed there. I do not know if he deviates from tight recipes, and how much he gets out and tries others’ beers, but it is worth a stop here.

Another typical chain pub. Shitty beers, with the occasional specialty beer that is decent. Cool place to come and shoot pool though.

Pretty typical American pub atmosphere for a Friday night--sports on TV, lots of pool tables, loud crowd. They had nine beers on tap, six of which were duplicates of their Chattanooga outlet recipes. A couple of the beers were notable. The owner/manager came over and had a long talk with me when they recognized I was rating. There seemed to be some regulars, and the bartenders were friendly.

Typical big chain brewery atmosphere. Food and service was good, but nothing grounbreaking. Small typical selection of house brews, but they are all very drinkable. But there is nothing growler worthy, but better than the swill in most buckhead bars.

Has an odd, expensive looking Denny’s look and feel to it. Service was slow and they only had five beers on tap - which are decent - no boundary stretching here though - ambers, wheats, Oktoberfest etc. Food was serviceable, but exepnsive for what you got. Will need to try again, maybe I hit an off night.

I don’t even know where to begin on who ownes this place and what where is brewed and such. I know that the beers are Big River though. This is a nice place in the Buckhead district. Fairly standard Rock Bottom-esque decor. Nice pool tables and games. Food menu looked tasty but nothing was tryed off of it. Service was noticably bad though.
