Modern building but nicely done out in old woody style. Tiled floors, wooden panelling etc. All go to make for quite cosy atmosphere. Although that wasn’t enhanced by the fact that I had the place virtually to myself on a quiet midweek lunchtime. That and the "sounds of the 80s" CD that was playing constantly, seemingly on a loop. Beers are the same as at the other Lemkes now. Marzen was the seasonal when I visited. The brewing kit is still in place but what is brewed where I don’t know. Handy for Charlottenburg Schloss.

Newly renovated - probably when it was taken over by Lemke, I believe in 2008. But the style is kept traditionally with hig wood panelling and a huge wooden bar at the entrance with some seating, but off to the sides are lots of tables, kept in wood as well as the benches. 3 regular beers and a seasonal of own make. A bit pricier than the rest of Berlin, but cheap compared to Denmark. The food is solid German kitchen with big serving sizes. The service is nice.

No longer actually called ’Luisen-Bräu’ but has changed into a new Lemke. Now called ’Brauhaus Lemke am Schloss’. Now Visited on June 6, 2008. Very similar to Lemke’s other location. Tried the Brauhaus Alster, their pils mixed with sprite soda. Also tried the green Berliner Wisse Waldmeister here. OK serice, did not eat. Close to a few fairly big roads with distrubing traffic. Either go to this or the other Lemke, both is not necessary.

Sober place, the traffic was a bit disturbing while sitting outside. Limited selection, the usual Berlin brewpub stuff, 4 homebrews on tap, a few more draught and bottled beers. Since they serve the same beers as Lemke brewpub, this place is not really very interesting.

Not a really interesting place for beergeeks, while they don’t have many beers (just two when I was there) and they are not really great. Location is quite good near Charlottenburg, and probably when I lived nearby I would go there now and then. Atmosphere is good, staff is friendly. I didn’t eat there.

Only two beers, as usual, plus a Weihenstephaner Weizen... But the owner was kind and showed me the equipment, even if we had some communication problem ;-) The place looks "new" but wants to give the impression of being old.

I liked it there. The food was really good and i liked the ambiance there. A tourist pub of course and the beer war quite overall.

Rather shitty place with some drinkable beers but nothing more than that. Didn’t try the food but it looked shitty.
