| Theis (80), , Denmark | | November 14, 2009 The most disgusting place I have ever been. It smelled of wet dog, smoke, old food and just bad. The beers were average to bad. Ok there if you are a ticker.... olny if you are a ticker. 2 Japanese guys had some food, they got a lot of food, they could feed their entire family. Service: well, we got some beer !!! | | downender (116), Bristol, England | | October 12, 2009 Visited 02/10/09. The pub was decorated for a Bavarian Oktoberfest event with various food specials - the Obatzda was good. Brisk and efficient service and the one beer I tried was solid and well-priced. Would visit again. | | chriso (161), London, England | | April 7, 2009 Tiny brewery in a fairly basic bar. Two of their own beers available. Did have a quite pubby feel because there were a number of obvious regulars sitting at the bar when I visited, so I sat at the bar too. Contrary to others’ experience, I found the service friendly and chatty and found myself chatting to the other customers too, despite language difficulties. | | nate2g (151), Brisbane, Australia | | December 26, 2008 Quite a sterile environment and pretty tacky looking place but Im here for the beers. I was the only one here and at no time did it look like any other customers were gonna show up. Eventually no one did. The beers were quite tasty. | | ekstedt (46), Göteborg, Sweden | | June 12, 2008 Quite boring brewpub in the central parts of Berlin. Service was ok, but not more. The waitress looked very bored and uninterested. Limited beer selection. If it wasn’t for the location, I wouldn’t recommend a stop here. But since it is within walking distance of Hackesher Markt, pass by and try their homebrews, and then move on. | | gnoff (127), Göteborg, Sweden | | June 11, 2008 In ’GBG Germany’ listed as pub number 10 under Mitte, page 446. Visited on June 5, 2008. A* bit cluttered feeling to the design inside, the Veltins sign outside was way more visible than the brew pub sign. Felt a but boring and quite non-essential. OK beers, OK service, not more. Did not eat. | | Emil (52), Copenhagen, Denmark | | October 31, 2007 A very small brauhaus with a 100 liter brewery, almost homebrew like behind the counter, kind of cool. A must for any homebrewer, and the beers were quit good. | | Rastacouere (475), Montréal, Quebec | | May 28, 2007 Pretty ordinary place where they were actually promoting another pils over their own beers. The location makes it almost inevitable to stop by, so you may as wel do it, but they only had 2 beers and not very characterful at that. | | fiulijn (198), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy | | November 28, 2005 As many others, they brew two beers only, and they are very simple. The food is ok. | | mullet (133), Melbourne, Australia | | June 28, 2005 To me this place wasn’t as bad as the others would have you believe. The dunkel was OK, but the surrounds were a bit spartan. People walking down the street looked at me like I was crazy to be drinking there. |
