September 15, 2008 Just stopped in for a brew. The beer was good and the crowd was decent. The intestest thing was to watch the beer filler wash glasses while I enjoyed my beer. Fastest damn glass washer I’ve ever seen!! |

August 6, 2008 Full, but not exactly stand room only the night we visited. Good server was right on top of our beers - another was placed as soon as one was emptied. Beer could be better, but is pretty drinkable. Didn’t try the food. Nice decor. |

May 14, 2008 Big, modern brewpub in the heart of the city. Neither the beer nor the atmosphere are worth a journey......... |

January 23, 2008 [ Updated August 18, 2008 ] Made a quick stop here in my small Kölsch-drinking tour. Service was good, Beer not so much - a very average Kölsch. |

June 9, 2007 The usual wooden, dark interior with lots of glasses amongst the ceilings. Multi-room pub that was rather loud as I visited. Perhaps one of the nicest facades of any Köln pubs. Despite the crod, the service was quick and attentive. The kölsch fails to be distinguishable though. |

June 21, 2006 [ Updated June 22, 2007 ] The first stop I made in Koln, when I was actually looking around for the Alt Koln but gave up because, as I later found out, it had closed! Peter’s is located not far from the Dom, and is within shouting distance from the Sion Brauhaus. Inside there’s a few large dining rooms, with dry, old wooden furniture and medium sized tables. The place was essentially empty at around lunch time, in contrast to what mds wrote about his visit. I had the Kolsch, of course, along with a saurkraut and sausage soup with bread, which was really hearty and very delicious. Some of the best food on my European trip was had in Koln. If you’re doing the Kolsch tour through town, you have to stop here. |

June 18, 2006 Had a big meal here on a weekday night, not crowded at all, but some people around. Waiter was prompt, attentive and kept the Koelsch coming. A solid beer and good food. A nice setting with huge windows looking out into the street and typical homey decoration. I thought the food here compared favourably to other more popular Brauhauses. |

May 26, 2006 This place I couldn’t stand to be in for more than the duration of what it took me to drink my Kölsch. It was ridiculously crowded and people were constantly bumping into each other. It took a while to order and then the beer would just be slopped on to the table. |

August 14, 2005 July 2001. Sat outside, drank Kölsch, watched all the people and got caught in a downpour, but I didn’t care! I think this was one of the top 2 stops on my Kölsch tour. Must stop. |

April 7, 2005 Beautiful exterior and cozy indoors with typical German ’bierstube’ interior with dark wooden furnitures and glass roofs. We started outside on the plaza and then moved inside later for dinner. The food is OK and inexpensive, unfortunately they only serve one beer - their kölsch, which does not goes well with the food served. |
