Well I don’t have much experience with beer stores in Germany but this place had tons of selection. Plenty of Bavarian dunkelweizens, hefeweizens, etc. which I was happy to see. Pretty well everything that I saw was available in singles so that’s certainly a plus. Also the great thing about German stores is how cheap everything is - most half litres were around 0.70-0.90E. I couldn’t buy much because I was using public transit.

Very nice place. Great selection on beer, as well as other drinks. Located right across the street from a bus stop (Gaertnerstrasse). I bought some beer that is relatively hard to find in these parts (various imports, Rauchbier, etc.). Overall very satisfied!

Great selection of German beers (at least for a North German store), mostly from crates rather than shelves, but you may buy single bottles of everything. The floor area of the store is not very large and rather crowded with crates - most of their trade seemed to be done by crate. They also have a big selection of soft drinks, also a few shelves of wines, spirits and foreign beers. The staff were very busy getting new supplies for the Friday rush when I was there, but they still found time to ask if I needed any help - which I did not, as I enjoyed walking around looking for "goodies" on my own. You will find the Hoheluft area between the city centre and the airport, there are frequent buses to/from the Hauptbahnhof and S-Bahn stations.
