This is a large brewpub (founded in 1997) near the historic town centre of Pirna. Massive wooden tables and chairs around the copper brewing vessels. They usually have 3 beers on tap: Bastei-Pilsener, Giesser-Dunkel and one seasonal, either a smoked or a Bock, both of which unfortunately were not available during my visit. The food is very well prepared and of high quality. The menu features standard dishes like Schnitzel with french-fries as well as hearty Saxonian specialities and deer dishes.
