5 reviews for Mabel’s Tavern
| berkshirejohn (79), Bracknell, England | | January 26, 2009 Pleasant enough SN pub close to St Pancras station. Five SN cask ales, the Porter was excellent. Almost empty at lunchtime so hard to rate. | | Svesse (88), Hässelby, Sweden | | October 18, 2008 Nice Shepherds Neame pub between Euston Station and Kings Cross. Up to five cask ales, all from Shepherd Neame. Efficient and friendly staff. Good pub food. Fairly large place with smaller seating areas to the sides. Definitely wort a visit if in the area. | | bhensonb (287), Woodland, California | | May 25, 2008 Very good place to sip a few decent ales. Usually 5 ales on cask. At least one seasonal. The only SN pub in near range of KC/SP, unless you count the Bishop’s Finger. | | haddonsman (56), Derby, England | | July 10, 2005 Handy for St Pancras, good Shepherd Neame range, if you’ve time before your next train it’s well worth passing the time in here. Single room and bit loud but still better than the crap nitro-sheds all along the Euston road. | | Joeh (49), , England | | December 9, 2004 [ Updated April 17, 2006 ] Normally a Shepherd Neame tied house probably wouldn’t deserve a listing in here, but I think this place does. Well placed near Euston/Kings Cross/St Pancras railway stations, it is also an ideal second stop on a pub crawl starting at the Head of Steam. Shepherd Neame seasonals feature here in addition to the rare Best Bitter - beer quality is excellent. |
