June 8, 2006 The draft beer has a taste of line cleaner in it all the time. (down town does not) |

March 15, 2006 Almost no difference from this one and the one downtown. Almost the same selection of beers. Did get a great Sockeye Porter here. Good place to hang out while the wife is off shopping. 3-4 pints later takes the edge off what she just spent. |

January 28, 2006 This is the better and more fun of the two Old Chicagos in Boise. Good for grabbing a pint or two before a movie or shopping at the mall. Food is better and so is the service. Enjoy a pint of Mac and Jacks or Kilt lifter |

June 18, 2005 OC is a fun place to go. They usually have Mac & jack’s on tap which is one of my favorite amber ales. But, it has the chain feel and the servers are not as laid back as the staff at Flying Pie, where we usually choose over this place. |

October 27, 2004 If I were to go to Old Chicago here in Boise, this would be the place. It’s not overrun by unruly college drunks, though it does have the residual mall rat crowd. Foods good. |

July 15, 2004 Trendy franchise sports bar with all the typical customers. Good service at this place with a constantly changing tap selection of stuff from the region. The food is great, especially after midnight when you can get a whole pizza for $3. No cask and you usually get a chilled glass. The drunk assholes who claim that they’ve had so many different beers who are on the wall don’t believe you when you say you’ve had 1500. |
