4 reviews for Capone’s Pub & Grille
rm0312 (3), Idaho does not count - explanation | | October 27, 2008 Decent place for a sandwich and a glass of beer for lunch. Food is what you’d expect at a brewpub and they have a better than average (far better actually) selection of unique brews. I’ve yet to try their Post Falls location since it’s been rebuilt following the fire. I’ll definitely visit Capones again (and again). | | jdp (12), Texas | | July 17, 2007 This is the place to go to in CDA for beer/food/sports. Good selection of games on each day. Good draft selection. Always something on cask. The thai chicken pizza is fantastic. Actually... everything is great. I go here all the time when I am CDA (grew up there and go back to visit relatives each summer). | | BückDich (215), McCall, Idaho | | May 3, 2006 Came down here and met billk for a quick pint. Inside has short ceilings with baseball and other sporting event paraphernalia plastered all over the place. Nice selection of taps with lots of regional stuff. Not sure about what Bill was complaining about the selection, this would be a welcomed addition to somewhere like Boise. It’s no Portland or San Diego, but a different tune for a different place. I had some Widmer Broken Halo. Didn’t see too much as for regionals. The laughing dog unfiltered IPA was on tap, I should have had that in hind side. Average service, maybe a bit apathetic, but I can’t complain. Didn’t try any food. | | billk (35), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho | | March 5, 2005 [ Updated April 25, 2006 ] This is the best tap bar in C d’A. 35 brews on tap (actually 38 by them but one or two are usually down), often changing for wide selection. I found Lang Creek’s Wingwalker IPA here. Good food, nice atmosphere w available outdoor seating. Update: 4/25/06. I’m getting cold feet about this place. Usually only about 5 beers max that are of any real interest and the food has been so so. |
