6 reviews for Brownstone Restaurant and Brewhouse
Scoutman (5), does not count - explanation | | January 21, 2008 Nice place, good bar food, reasonable prices. Beers need appropriate levels of carbonation and deserve to have a waitstaff that is more informed as to beer types and recipes. Will go back next time Im in town | | jake65 (57), Williston, North Dakota | | January 17, 2007 [ Updated March 24, 2009 ] Easy to find on River Parkway near the Red Lion. Inside is brick and wood with a nice view of the kettles and some of the brewing equipment. I had a great seat at the bar near the 40"+ flat screen! Only had time for one brew, it was nice, but served far too cold. I’ll go back next time I visit IF for sure. | BrewSquid (9), Plattsburg, Missouri does not count - explanation | | December 9, 2006 We were visiting from out-of-town and stopped in for lunch and to try the beer sampler. The food was good but only standard pub grub. 6 beers were on tap. 4 of them were very good and 2 were excellent (the Hefeweizen and the Helles Bock)! | | BückDich (215), McCall, Idaho | | May 2, 2006 Downtown location right next to the Red Lion with a perfect view of "the falls" which make it Idaho Falls. I didn’t know it was so wide, cool though. From the outside it has a huge sign that looks like it would be for a truck stop. Inside is typical with lots of wood, family restaurant and sports bar split down the middle. Friendly serving staff, not much to look at, but sincere. The beer selection was average, only 6 on tap, but 4 were new to me. The beers were average, nothing great, nothing horrible. Average ho-hum type of a place. | | oldrtybastrd (24), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana | | March 15, 2006 Nice neighborhood brewpub. Just off the Snake River. Nice selection of house beers on tap. Nice place to go and have a couple of pints with my dad when I’m home visiting. Used to go to Dr. Hops, but now its the Brownstone. | | Braudog (478), Dayton, Ohio | | July 3, 2005 Visited in July 2000. Marked it as average to above average. |
