May 28, 2008 Large, spacious, open feel to the place with a bunch of signs from crappy beers on the walls.. the menu looked good, but I didn’t eat there.. the bartender was friendly and answered all my questions satisfactorily.. plenty of TVs with sports coverage.. lots of beers on tap (11 I think) that ranged from poor to decent.. no big styles represented, and it sounds like they don’t often have ’em.. most of the beers are contract-brewed through Capital and Two Brothers, with 3 or so of the taps brewed in-house.. I reluctantly agree with Walt that you should go a little ways down the street to R.B. |

April 15, 2008 We were there in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday and literally were the only ones there for like 2 hours...service was good, but the manager was serving us and he was chatty Cathy...beers were shitty and at best mediocre...had the appetizer sampler which was also mediocre...go the extra 500 yards to Rock Bottom. |

January 12, 2008 Just your standard, average restaurant that brews its own beer. You can order a beer sampler to get a flavor of what they serve. The beer was nothing special and neither was their other selections although the Two Brothers was a nice suprise. The food was good and the service was okay. They had some interesting raspberry wheat beer. |

November 11, 2006 I went in with a negative bias, but very much wanted to be proven wrong. At first things were going quite well. The first 3 brews of my 6 beer sampler did not have any gaping flaws, although they were clearly designed to appeal to a wider audience. I thought to myself that if their brewmaster just pushed the envelope on a couple of beers, they could turn some heads. However, on beer #4, Dark Satin, things took a turn for the worse. The remaining 3 beers all had noticeable flaws. Regarding the food, my burger was well above average. It was cooked to order (medium rare) and was nice and juicy. My daughter’s chicken fingers were very dry, but with some ranch dressing, were edible. Prices are on the high side. $10 for a 6 beer sampler, especially with average beer? My burger was $9 and the kids meals were $3.99 apiece. The place was packed at 5:45pm on a Saturday night and we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. I shudder to wonder how popular this place would be with good beer. Not worth going for the beer, but for food and atmmosphere may be worth going once. |

September 24, 2006 Stopped in for a couple of brews one night with 5-6 buddies. Didn’t have everything advertised on tap available. No dark beers. What we ordered wasn’t that good. Waitress did not seem knowledgable about their beers. One brew was so skunky we sent it back. This was only one experience - but I am unlikely to go back. Heard from two others who were also less than impressed. |

August 15, 2006 This has the feel of a large chain restaurant. The bar is very big and spacious, everything just has an organized, commercialized feel. The lackluster beer is not adventurous at all. TWO light beers on tap when I went. Not worth a special trip, but I guess it’d be all right to have dinner here or maybe try some beers if I’m in the immediate vicinity anyway. |

June 21, 2006 A lot of taps, but beer was only so-so. Typical brew-pub fare. Food was good - burgers especially. |

May 26, 2006 Went here for lunch during our Summer of Beers 2005 tour. Typical pub fare, beers are better than average, they have one of those little trivia games which is nice because I’m not into baseball. Service was good. |

October 9, 2005 This place isnt so bad. Pretty loud inside as already said. Atmosphere isnt all that, more like your typical restaurant or something. The only food that I have had was the all you can eat fish. It was pretty good but not knocking your socks off or anything. Stop by if you are in the area, but not worth a special trip. |
