The owner Tony Calhoun has designed a place that is a change of pace in a town filled with college/frat bars or drunken dives. Quiet low key environment, intimate seating. A good place to enjoy a tasty ale or lager. The downtown area is improving with new restaurants and speciality stores opening on the square, but this beer bar is located next to a frat-boy/college bar, so late at night sometimes you have to deal with rowdy drunken students and the accompanying police presence. |
