| gws57 (74), Saint Charles, Illinois | | June 12, 2007 [ Updated June 18, 2008 ] Came here after the lunch rush on a Tuesday afternoon. Service was a tad slow but very friendly, talked with the manager off and on throughout the entire time. Not a giant selection, and he said they don’t brew the beer there, I think most of it comes from the brewpub in Dundee. They also have two or three guest taps. Anyways, the food was tasty and the beers were good. Very quiet, this would be a nice place for dinner but seems too sterile as a night spot. I would recommend this place to anyone in the southern Fox Valley. Revisited 12/26/07: The service does not appear to improve at night. I am changing my rating from 6 to 4, and overall from 13 to 12 as a result. Final rating 6/18/08: Heard from the brewer that this location has closed. | FermentEd (1), does not count - explanation | | December 6, 2006 Outstanding beer and food. Clean, comfortable, smoke-free atmosphere. |
