| guyinchicago (22), marengo, Illinois | | October 29, 2008 can find some gems here three floyds, flossmore, dogfish head imp, chimay orval ,mikkkeller, and a very huge selectoin of euros and polish oh yeah they also had gooseisland 2007 boubon county stout | | Walt (185), Chicago, Illinois | | April 22, 2008 Big selection of Polish and eastern European beers...nice people...not amazing though... | | Ughsmash (138), Waukesha, Wisconsin | | January 9, 2008 I stopped here when I was staying in Elk Grove Village, and found a few beers that I had to take back with me (and some Jadwiga Mead). The store is relatively small, with a warehouse feel to it. Prices were average +, and the selection was decent. The service was friendly enough. | | SubstanceT (114), Saint Louis, Missouri | | March 3, 2007 As compared to the other Sal’s Beverage Worlds that I have been to it is much smaller and the selection is scalled down as well. They have a pretty good selection and it appears that it is kept up well. For example, I found DogFish Head Imperial Pilsner on the shelf. I have not seen this at other places in the area. Intersting. If you are in one of the many hotels surround this place this is definately a good stop for some brews. |
