Nice place, clean and newer than the Elgin location. The bar area is vast and open but still really gathers a lot of smoke. One person smoking in the bar totally saturates the entire place. My dad actually suggested going to this place when he was up visiting me. I rather wanted other places to go because the elgin location is SO SO but we went. Well, it was good and the service was tolerable. To make a long story short my dad came up the following week and went to this location because he had a good time with me, however, this time he brought some of his clients from work. He aparently had to ask the wait staff 3 times to turn one of the TVs to the Illini Basketball game (the reason why they went to a bar) before they would. By the time it was done it was the end of the first half. Just FYI, YMMV.

Closed by 03-01-2007. Elgin location remains open.

decent little place, food is alright, beer is severly lacking, but service is good and as Blake said a lot of the waitresses are little cuties.

This place is pretty big and cool. Lots of rooms and levels. I only had one beer but it was pretty good--the pale ale. The food was pretty good. I think RAM which is about 1/4 mile away is better.

Nice looking place and the firepit outside was a nice touch, but that’s about where it ended. No go on the beers, which were very flavorless. Didn’t try the food.

Good thing this one was in the area or I would have not gone out of the way for it. All of their beers are attempted clones of the mass marketed favorites (Miller Lite, Guinness, etc.) As the manager tried to talk about their beers, it became painfully obvious that he didn’t know anything about beer. (He said their Bohemian Pilsner used Shiraz. I asked him if he meant Saaz, and he said that that might be it.) My son didn’t dig the place either.

like Cornfield said, this place is yuppie central! The beer is average at best and the food is pretty good. A pretty boring and no-frills brewpub.

A restaurant having a pale wood, lodge-like motif with so-so food and mediocre beers- - - Stop in only if you’re not going out of the way. Besides their own six on tap, they carry MGD and Miller Lite in the bottle. I didn’t get to meet any brewers; consequently all of my beer questions fell on confused ears. This is in a Yuppie shopping/business area, so I really don’t know if anything better is near by.
