| lovemyipas (12), sw burbs, Illinois | | February 8, 2007 [ Updated June 20, 2007 ] not bad of a selection for home brewing and if it is not on the shelf then they have it in the back. nice selection of wine making products as well not to many beer brewing kits but some interesting things in there brewing and wine making wise that is. knowledgeable people for sure and some awsome beers on tap and to buy! | | gws57 (74), Saint Charles, Illinois | | July 17, 2006 [ Updated December 24, 2007 ] A very large store, but not particularly well stocked. Prices seem to be comparable with the other homebrew shop in St. Charles. One caveat: they have very strange hours if you plan to drop by on your way past, you might as well not bother. Definately call ahead.br
Revisited 12/07: They have moved to a new location that should prove to be an excellent step up. However, for the time they seem to be running on 3 cylinders. Call ahead. | stoutmaker (2), Naperville, Illinois does not count - explanation | | May 14, 2006 From a Homebrewers supply standpoint, this shop leaves much to be desired. The number of kits, equipment and supplies seemed extremely sparse. I believe that these guys do however probably make some good beer. I tried their Bitter that I took home and it was well crafted. So give the Two Brothers Beer a try if you’re looking for something new, but don’t expect much at the shop if you’re looking to do your own. | | Cornfield (138), Oak Forest, Illinois | | February 14, 2006 I’m not a home brewer, but I happened to be passing by, so decided to drop in. Met one of the brewers (not a Brother) and he was a friendly, knowledgeable guy. Picked up a wheat/barley wine to try, since I’d already decided to cellar the bottle that I had. Plenty of brewing supplies. | JerseySlim (1), Illinois does not count - explanation | | March 25, 2005 A great brew store run by knowledgable folks. They’re friendly, and helpful, and if it’s a slow day, you may even get a tour of Two Brothers’ Brewery in te back! |
