Gremlin76 (2), Gosport, Indiana does not count - explanation | | September 11, 2008 The BEST place in Bloomington for Sunday beer. Local art on the walls and local ales in your belly! The food is good too! | | EithCubes (64), Indiana | | June 2, 2007 At this point, I’ve only tried the pub on the east side of the restaurant. Parking was a problem, even on a lazy Saturday afternoon in the summer, though that may be due to the other stores in the strip. Service was fine. Beers are avg; mediocrity reigns but permits a real winner every now and then. Hard to pass judgment on such a varied menu, but what I’ve had has been hearty and good. A good spot for a good experience, but not really worth seeking out. | | Optigon (41), Bloomington, Indiana | | January 15, 2007 This restaurant gets extra points from me for offering some of their microbrews in not only CO2, but nitro and pulls as well! Not a bad restaurant. The beers are decent, but not earth shatteringly good. The food is a decent. Their Shooter Deserts are are a fun value. | tcruicks (5), Bloomington, Indiana does not count - explanation | | February 2, 2006 Always super busy, hard to find parking or even a seat. Weird menu items are appealing but never taste good. Beer is less than average. | | WabashMan (23), Noblesville, Indiana | | June 15, 2005 I always thought Lennies was a nice place to enjoy a good meal and a pint or two. The food is not typical brewpub...really a step above. Beers are average, but enjoyable if you know what to get. | | argo0 (173), Washington DC | | January 25, 2005 I visited early on a Friday. Quiet but friendly place. The beers were nothing special, but service was fine. | | PhillyBeer2112 (56), Orange Park, Florida | | November 2, 2004 I was always fond of stopping here for lunch for a slice, great pizza, best in town. Other menu items very good as well. Well above average brewpub fare. The beers, initially lame, have improved in character over the years. Service is usually solid, featuring very attractive young ladies exclusively (its clearly intentional by the manager). | | TAR (25), Boulder Co., Colorado | | October 28, 2004 Decent little brewpub near the IU campus. Although the selection is limited, and they RARELY do anything different, there are one or two hand-pulls, ranging from their stout to their weizen. Their Java Porter is worth seeking out, but that’s about it. Quaint little bar area adjacent to the restaurant. They do fill growlers. |
