The World Of Spirits, when compared to other beer stores in other cities, like Iowa City, is just a slightly above average store in beer selection, but it has the best overall beer selection in the Quad Cities area. In imports they have Chimay, Lindemans, Monk’s Cafe, Ayinger, Bitburger, DAB, Dinkel Acker, Franziskaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Paulaner, Schneider, Spaten, Warsteiner, Weihenstephan, Czechvar, Pilsner Urquell, Peroni, Kirin, Sapporo, Singha, Tsingtao, Grolsch, Tusker, Belhaven, Samuel Smith, Speckled Hen, Wexford and Young’s. They also have the usual imports that you see everywhere and the basic Canadian and Mexican beer selections. In American craft beers, they have Anchor Stream, Boulevard, Breckenridge, Capital, Lefthand, MacTarnahan’s, Pyramid, Redhook, Rogue, Samuel Adams, Saranac, Schell and Sierra Nevada. They also have all the Millstream beers including John’s Generation White Ale. This is the best store in the Quad Cities for Millstream, Iowa’s last remaining brewery. Service is basically hands off, just one cashier working the front counter. They have a small singles/mix-a-six section and a small speciality food section and they sell cigars. If you’re a visitor to the Quad Cities and checking out beer stores I would recommend going here and Gendler’s in Moline, before going to one of the HyVee stores.

Small wine/spirits/beer store. Used to be called Cork & Brie. Most of the store is dedicated to wine and spirits. But they have a nice cooler with six packs and cases. They also have a little section up front by the counter for mix and match sixers. Had about 100 different beers available for mix and match. The guy working the counter seemed pretty knowledgeable.
