Visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon in May, this was by far the best beer selection we found in almost two weeks of touring around Ireland. Excellent selection, most of it seems to be in good shape, except maybe some of the clear British brews that looked a little dusty. Very friendly helpful staff kitted us out with a box or two of some really great finds. Absolutely worth visiting, go here for your beer buying! Nothing compared to it in Dublin.

Solid international selection including offerings from Germany, Belgium, UK, US etc. The guy who was there during the day was super friendly and was tending bar later at night. The other staff was okay as well. Nicely laid out. A couple of the English beers were closer to their expiry dates than I was willing to go for (especially in clear bottles) but much of the selection is in fridges as well. Prices seemed reasonable for everything. Would definitely return.

This place is a God send for the beer drinkers of Cork. Pretty decent selection of English ales, the owner claims that they probably have the largest in Ireland. A good selection of American, Belgium and German beers also, which are updated a little sporadically. The staff are very friendly and always willing to give advice and chat. Most importantly it’s the only show in town here.
