Your Opinions

| KnutAlbert (131), Oslo, Norway | | April 18, 2008 The food is OK. If you go for the whole pacakge, you are in for long hours of bad seating in a school dining hall sort of concept. The music was well performed, the dance act was way too long.
The lamb was fine, the seafood platter was not exactly the catch of the day..
Poor beer selection, just the standards.
This is the kind of place where they could have brewed their own.
Mountains? Come on! | ha1ag (4), Maastricht, Netherlands does not count - explanation | | April 21, 2007 Very nice place, a very old ut nicely renovated and kept pub. I was taken there after a business meeting. The live music is nice a bit too loud (to support sales). Beer selection is OK.
Recommended | | garthicus (22), Toronto, Ontario | | April 8, 2007 Needs to be seen to be believed, from their site "Established in 1798, Johnnie Fox’s is one of the oldest pubs in Ireland. Renound for being the highest pub in the country, we are nestled in the peacefull village of Glencullen and surrounded by the beautiful scenery and serenity of the Dublin Mountains. Johnnie Fox’s Pub is situated approximately 25-35 minutes drive from Dublin City centre. Traditional music sessions are as much alive today as they were in the past, with live Irish music sessions 7 nights a week" Back to me,,, sawdust on the floor, roaring turf fires, a living Irish museum, no visit to Dublin or Ireland for that matter is complete without going to Johnnie Foxes, the downside? It is high in the mountains, so someone has to drive! Give it a go, you will not be dissapointed |
