beeR (7), Cantù, Italy does not count - explanation | | August 25, 2008 Wonderfully run pub, well qualified and very friendly owner and staff. Huge selection of both common and not common beers, attention to service and details. Italian and foreign microbreweries on the tap and hand pumped, frequently new suggestions. Also the bottle list is often updated. Good food, with a wide selection of pizzas, focaccias and piadine and other wood-oven baked products.
You have to try. | | Scauca (17), Lovere, Italy | | July 16, 2008 [ Updated August 19, 2008 ] Very nice pub with a vast selection of elsewhere hard to find beers, especially Italian, Belgian and British micros, with vintages as well. Six fridges welcome you entering the abbazia, packed out with hundreds of inviting bottles. Good turnover of Italian micros on tap. Hand pumped, properly served British and Italian real ales. Good food, especially pizzas. Very friendly and skilled staff and owner. Nice furnishing. Definitely a must. |
