Visited in November 2014. Very modern bar a bit further south from most tourist destinations or other beer bars in Rome. During my visit there were 35 taps and 12 casks pouring a very impressive selection of high quality beers: Belgian lambics, Revelation Cat lambics, De Molen, Mikkeller, Struise, Boon along with numerous Italian beers. Several beers Iíd rarely seen on tap like Pannepot Wild and Boon to be Wild. Prices were good for the quality and for Rome/Italy. The bottle list had some vintage lambic and other gems but for very high prices. Enjoyable ambiance with lots of stools along the bar and a decent number of tables/booths. Friendly and helpful service. An amazing bar and I hope to return someday.

My favorite place in Rome. located way off the beaten track this cavern like bar has an alluring atmosphere and is home to 30 taps + a dozen hand pumps. The staff here know their stuff & it feels a bit like a pilgrimage coming out here. It is also one of the larger bars I visited in Rome with a good 15-20 seats at the slick bar and at least a dozen tables. Even on a weekday night it got crowded as the night went on. When I visited they had a bunch of their house lambics & sours on tap which were great plus I tried a trio of excellent dark beers. A great night.

I visited the place in the summer of 2013. Getting there was not so easy at all, itís outside the city center and we passed by abandoned houses and buildings I didnít really know what they make for before. After all we came along the empty street at night without problems. I donít know which day we visited the place, but it was not so crowded. The selection was ok, and I decided to drink draft beers. There was a lot of Revelation Cat on tap, they sold Italian stuff mostly.

Straight to the point, this is the best bar I have ever visited. The atmosphere is cool, easy going with lots of young people catching up at the tables, and a few people hanging out at the bar. We went there on a friday evening. Place was crowded, but apparently thatís not only the case on friday, truth be told, I get why. The service was very good. We met a great bartender who spoke fluently English, which is a nice bonus in Italy. You canít have an official tasting flight, but he let us try everything we wanted from draught in small portions. I shared a Fouífoune and had a really nice talk. Weíre really sorry we didnít make it back the other night, we were way to tired! The selection of this place is absolutly unseen. The draught list contained very very small Italian local craft beers with only a few ratings, combined with Boon lambic blends made especially for this place... AWESOME!! Also De Molen beers aged for several years. And on top of all that Pannepot Wild on tap. That crazy. The value for all of these beers is very reasonable. You can also buy growlers at about 26 euro for 2L. We had their hoppy burgers as well, which were really tasty. A perfectly baked burger. Selection of food isnít huge, but very well chosen with fries and burgers. Overall, this is the coolest beer bar I have ever visited. I would recommend everyone who has the opportunity to visit this place, itís freaking awesome.

Itís not in the touristic center of the city but if you take the tram No. 8 and stop at Trastevere/Pascarella you have to walk 200 meters to get to Brasserie 4:20. Industrial but cozy decoration, its like a good looking fast food place with an embedded beer bar playing metal music! Good (self) service, very good beer selection on tap (I didnt check the bottles list). Food is very good, you can create your own burger selecting the type of burger and the "ingredients" and they have the best potatoes (fried) that I have ever found at a restaurant-fast food. Prices are ok.
