Nice German place between Akasaka and Nogizaka station. I think I like this place over Bernd’s Bar beer wise due to the fact they had Spaten Octoberfest on tap and Bernds didn’t have anything out of the ordinary when I went last week. While the ambiance is a little bit too cave/cafe feel (Bernds was more home like), the nice German decorations makes the place look nice and their well equipped clean bathroom with mouthwash to clean your smelly mouth out, makes this place great for a date. Also they had the dark strong Spaten Optimator on tap too along with the regular Spaten. They had a bunch of bottled German beers too. Even some bottled German(?) micro smoked beer that I almost got. Maybe next time..... Food was good. Sausages were good. German potatoes were tasty and prob my favorite. Over all nice place. Went again a few months later. They had another Spaten beer on tap that was some bock or something strong and golden color. Nice alternative to the Delerium cafe just up the road. |
