beastiefan2k | A very large place in a consumer mecca of a mall. Seems bland and trite, decor wise. Plenty of drafts, but even a newbie to KC like me had very little new to try. Imports wise only the Maredsous 8 was anything close to special. Otherwise a lot of Free State, Goose Island, and New Belgium. Service was unimpressive and a bunch of taps were not working. Best part was actually the food. we had the two different Ahi Tuna salads and they were both great. I probably wont be back but its worth a stop if you are a the Mall and don’t want to go to the Granite City brewpub.

| kosko20 | Massive beer selection, over 100 different kinds. Kitchen messed up my food order twice. Good atmosphere but they had tvs in odd places.

Braudog | First I’d heard of this chain, but needed to see for myself. Of the 100 or so taps, they had the usual suspects along with an OK lineup of regionals and imports. But disappointingly they only had at the most 10 local small brewery offerings. The service started slow but got better ... the waitress didn’t know much about beer, but someone came over to answer questions pretty quickly. The food was above average ... just the standard burger fare ... but yummy. Worth a visit but don’t expect any hidden gems.

tjthresh | Very corporate. Lots of metal. Good amount of hot chicks. A few surprises on tap. Food is great. Way expensive.

KUEric | The slogan says ’Great Beer Classic Rock’. I can’t stress enough how painfully horribly bad the music was. I felt like I might have been overreacting, but it was the topic of conversation at many tables around us. Simply have to knock the ambiance for that.
They also serve thier beer far too cold. A decent selection considering the lack of beers allowed in KS, but of the many taps, too many are macros, or all too common imports. Ssome Lost Coast is a plesant suprise. The service was subpar, but we were informed they were short a server, but the bar had 2 bartenders and needed more during an only decently busy dinner hour. The prices on beers and meals were through the roof by KS standards. Although the food was quite good.
