Used to be Willy’s (see previous ratings under that entry). The bar feels more like a sports bar than an Irish pub. My server was really friendly, very attentive, and honest about her lack of beer knowledge (though she was trying new beers). The number of taps is pretty impressive for the area, but I’m concerned that the beers aren’t being cared for. They were out of Trois Pistoles, so I asked for a sample pour of their Chambly Noire. I was glad I’d asked for the sample, as it was absolutely flat. Not a hint of carbonation left. The bartender did make a note to pass on to the owner, so hopefully this won’t happen often. I didn’t try the food, but looked at the menu and the prices seemed very reasonable. The fare looked to be typical pub grubsandwiches, etc, and pizza. I would definitely return, as they had several Unibroue offerings on tap at very reasonable prices. The smoking area is one of their outside patios in the back. It was nice to be able to taste my beer without having to inhale cigarette smoke.
