April 18, 2009 [ Updated April 20, 2009 ] As the previous reviewer stated, it’s a nice place. It’s an Irish style bar. I didn’t think they had much of a beer selection. The food is decent but overpriced. Parking shouldn’t really be a problem. Service the last 2 times I went there has been nonexistent. Was sitting outside and couldn’t get a server to wait on us and when they did, they didn’t do a good job checking on us or giving us our checks. There are better Irish restaurants in Louisville than this place. |

February 21, 2009 Nice building and bar, but as noted below, too many annoying kids drinking H2O. Service was good and friendly, especially the main bartender. Beer selection is boring, could use MUCH more variety. Not sure how it got such a high rating. I didn’t eat, so I can’t comment on the food. My drinks were decently priced, considering the lack of good beers. A nice place with nice people, but lacking nice beers. |

December 26, 2008 pretty solid beer selection including some rare big specialty bottles like the 3L samichlaus I saw last night, and a 750 of Baladin Xyauyù, which I have never seen before. They have new specialty kegs every thursday and they have ales on cask often -- primarily BBC stuff. Most of the time, at night, the crowd is a douchey obnoxious college preppy kids. Im in college and I hate this crowd on most nights. Anyways, the owner is a nice dude and there are always some quality bottle and tap options. |

September 1, 2008 Great Irish pub, great selection of beer both on tap and in bottle. Food is very good as well. Typically a younger crowd, nice layout with outdoor patio for live music. This place is packed on the weekends with college age crowd. |

May 10, 2008 Easy to find location on Baxter Ave. Clean Irish pub with a wood bar in the middle and tables all around and large deck next door. Freindly service (Michele) with good knowledge of selection of 15 taps. All beers on tap were average to good and had a new for me BBC selection. Good food menu of Irish and american apps and dinner selections. Keg and Eggs for early mornig soccer games. I enjoyed the visit. |

January 9, 2008 Always our end of the evening stop to have a Irish car bomb or two and be merry. Younger crowd. Live music offerings. Large sports gatherings. Very nice Irish owned staff. Try to catch the local Irish band practicing in the back room by the fire on any given Tuesday. |

June 3, 2007 I enjoy this place. It has a very nice atmosphere. And the food is above average, with smoked salmon, fish and chips and other good Irish food. They have a good selection of Irish and I think, English beer. The prices are reasonable. It has not been that crowded when I’ve been there. The bartenders are very friendly. |

January 11, 2007 Great place for happy hour, weekends are packed to the gills by large portion of the college crowds. Authentic Irish Bartenders - GO SEE Brendan and Paul, since you’re there say hello to Larry too. |

July 21, 2005 [ Updated August 25, 2008 ] Irish pub and restaurant in a fun part of town. Fairly good selection of beers on tap, and a selection of macros from the bottle. Nothing extraordinary, but a solid lineup of Irish, English, and American beers. Not a place that I would go out of my way for, but a nice hangout. |
