Ship Inn (Oakwell)

A very strange location for this pub, tucked away in a very quiet, semi-industrial estate, 2 mins from the Highcross shopping centre, in the heart of ancient Leicester. This is an Oakwell pub and sister to the Shakespeares Head, which is a similarly cheap place. 5 beers available from Oakwell brewery, which were pleasant, but nothing else. Scruffy decor, but does have a dartboard, pool table and bar games. I can’t honestly recommend that this place is a must visit, but it is interesting, and is in an interesting area of town.
