Cool old building in downtown Covington. Decent tap and bottle selection, mostly macros but a nice stock of all the Abitas, some German taps, and a Bear Republic IPA. Good food and service.

Heluva beer bar for a small town in Louisiana. 32 taps and about 60 other beers in bottles. Bartenders use glasses approporate for the beer ordered. They have frequent keep the glass specials (I’ve got a lovely set of Sella Artois glasses as a result of this!) The place has a varied food menu. Burgers are absolutely fantastic. The first time I went there, the bartender told me: Our chef’s ability with fish is the best kept secret in Louisiana. She was not kidding. I ordered the catch of the day (drum, that day) and it was some of the most perfectly prepared fish I’ve ever eaten! Hours are 11:00 AM - till. Kitchen is open till 9:00 PM and sometimes later. Kids are welcome until 10:00 PM then its over 21 only.
