5 reviews for Domaney’s Wines & Liquors
| Cletus (175), Connecticut | | January 5, 2009 As far as stores in this area go, Domaney’s easily offers the widest selection. They stock bombers from Barrington Pub and Brewery, most of the other local breweries and have a large selection of imports. Not a place to go out of your way for, but definitely worth a look if in the area. | | MartinT (348), Montreal, Quebec | | November 8, 2007 This fun little store in Great Barrington has a very good selection scattered about the right-hand side of the store. There isn’t a lot of each, but you will still find a few excellent bottles such as Lost Abbey, Allagash, Alesmith, etc. The draw here, unless you are in the Berkshires and this is the only store around you, is that you can get bottles from the Great Barrington brewpub nearby. There were 6 kinds when I was there, all kept cool in the fridge. A quality store, this is, but of course it cannot compete with some of the best in the state. | | ericnixon (57), Northampton, Massachusetts | | November 9, 2006 Despite the previous ratings, this is, by far, the best beer selection I’ve found in the Berkshires. Good selection of stuff from Ommegang, Lagunitas, Chimay, as well as local breweries, and a decent selection of Belgians. I went giddily running over to grab a basket to fill up after seeing what they had in stock. They have the best price on Ommegang Three Philosophers that I’ve seen (over a buck cheaper than) anywhere else in the state.
They also appear to have a good wine and cheese selection. | dustytictac (1), Gt. Barrington, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | March 9, 2006 Selection expanding and improving, lots of great finds under the stairs on the side wall. | | MaiBockAddict (76), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey | | February 20, 2005 Average Micro selection. Some imports. Good for finding something when you are local and in a pinch. This is not a place to go out of the way for. |
