3 reviews for Kappy’s Liquors
| Pipper (27), Ohio | | August 3, 2009 A chain of liquor, wine, beer stores in Boston area. This was the only one I’ve been to so far and came away with a decent hall: ST Mokah, Hop Stoopid, Speakeasy Old Godfather, Midas Touch, Founder’s Double Trouble and Centennial. They have all the micros in 6ers, cases, bombers and tall boys. A saw 2 growlers of Rogue Dead Guy and Opa-Opa Steakhouse and Brewery IPA. Some bombers from Nantucket and Vermont besides others of Chimay, Ommegang, Lagunitas, Victory Hop Devil and a Sam Adam’s Double Bock in a pretty small bottle for too much money. Didn’t have anyone ask if I needed help but I found everything I needed fine and they were friendly at the cash register. Best part of this place is the GINORMOUS Kappy’s Liquor sign on the front of the building, can’t miss it. | | fluids (29), | | July 3, 2005 It’s a Massachusetts Liquor supermarket chain. I have been to the one in Cambridge as well and also the one in Brighton. If there is no other place to go that has what you are looking for chances are high that you will find it here. They do have cigars by the way. You will find trappist beers (Chimay and Achel), they have some good English, German and other Belgian beers too (the popular ones.) They also have Quebec beers like Unibroue and a fairly good Micro brew selection as well as your standard Macro swill like Bud, Coors, etc...If you can find someone to help you they usually don’t know too much though but they are friendly. | | ericnixon (57), Northampton, Massachusetts | | June 14, 2005 At the intersection of Routes 16 & 28. You can’t miss it with the giant green neon KAPPY’S sign. A huge liquor store with a pretty good beer selection. Lots of singles and some harder to find stuff. |
