tommy8768 | was passing by the exit on my way down 495 and stopped at Julios for the first time. WOW!!! Awesome selection, lots of hard to find beer, singles out the wazoo. I bought twelve mixed beers, big bottles mostly. Great store and helpful staff. A must if you are in the area.

RomanW70 | First time to Julio’s. Awsome selection. I left with Struise Mikkeller, Struise Panneot, 2002 Aged Aventinus, Alesmith Grand Cru (2006 vintage) and Nogne O Black Hole. It was the day after the Stone Imperial Stout release and there were a ton in the store. Lots of Alesmith, Lost Abbey, and Founders. Some local stuff (Opa-Opa) I hadn’t seen released before. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Luckily, RI distribution is stepping up to the plate, and there are closer sources of LA, Alesmith, and Founders, but I will definitely make a point of coming to Julio’s the next time I’m in the area.

yobdoog | Sweet, finally went to Julios and I wish I could go more. Man, I love being able to get singles of anything especially when the selection is as insane as it is here. Being from New York I don’t see some of what they carry which is great. New releases and I hear they are contracting to make a Julios release. They also have events I see posted but not attended but it is good to know the staff cares and they are knowledgable and want to learn more. They also had a ton of hot sauces to choose from too.

Vac | This place is great...I’m glad my friends brought us here. The selection is unbelievable...I walked around the beer section about 10 times and found something defferent that I wanted on every round. The hardest part was not buying everything, since I had to get it all back to San Diego. Luckily my buddy is going to ship what I couldn’t fit in my luggage. The service was great and once they saw my Alesmith shirt and realised we werefrom San Diego, they hooked us up with t-shirts, glasses and a nice discount. Definitely a place I will hit whenever I’m visiting my Boston friends.

zug4abby | Some friends who live in JP brought us to Julio’s on our way to go tubing. IT WAS FANTASTIC! I live in San Diego and think our beer stores are great, this place was HUGE, the employees were awesome and if the number of beers we bought is any indicator (30), we absolutely loved this place. They were super nice and helpful, hooked us up with shirts, cards, etc. They were great and I can’t wait to buy way to much beer every time I’m in the area!

eaglefan538 | One of the most phenomenal beer stores I’ve been to, perhaps the best (statlineliquors right there or just behind it). The selection was not only super stellar and unbelievable (AleSmith this side of the Mississippi?), but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, I only had to name something and they’d send me where I needed to go. Also, I got a handful of recommendations based on what I like. Simply a phenomenal stop, and much thanks to ClarkVV of RB for sending me here. Too bad I missed Clark while our routes crossed as he was on his way to the Kennet Beer Fest.

lordeche | I must admit that I drove an hour on the Mass Pike with the hopes that this liquor store would contain every beer I ever wanted. It should come as no surprise that I was disappointed. I will say that it is does have one of the better beer selections that I have had the opportunity to peruse in Ma. That being said, Luke’s Liquors in Rockland may have a better overall selection. Julio’s, unlike Luke’s, has Lost Abbey, 3 Fonteinen, Founders, and selections from Northern European brewers such as Mikkeller and Olfabrikken. Julio’s didn’t have the top rated beers from these breweries, however. In fact they only had two brews from Alesmith, three from Stone, and three from Founders- nothing to scoff at, but based on the ratings, I expected more. I found more hard-to-find beers in a couple select retailers in Allston. Still, Julio’s is the best overall store in MA, but not because of its selection.

Cryotek | Drove about an hour to get there and it was worth it. They get every possible beer that the area can get, if they don’t have it, its only because of distribution. I was there right after Christmas so they did run out of a few things, but i’m sure they’ll be filled soon. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The place is huge, like a mall for liquor. Nice cigar selection, but they were overpriced. I would agree that this is the best beer store in MA, and probably all of New England. Definitely will go back soon and often.

CaptainCougar | Great selection of beers in a state that gets a lot of great beers. You’ll find Stone, Alesmith, Port Brewing/Lost Abbey, Southampton, Southern Tier, Dogfish Head, Berkshire, Cisco, Smuttynose, Victory, Nøgne, Ølfabrikken, Mikkeller, Nørrebro, 3 Fonteinen, Founders, etc. They sell singles and the prices are pretty good for the area. They even had a beer made especially for the store by Berkshire when I was there. If you’re into wine this is also a great store for trying various wines free of charge.

| LieutenantDan | I went in there last saturday, the place was packed, So insead of waiting in line, i participated in their boulder beer tasting (The mojo ipa was great), then moved over to the wine dept where there were three different wine tastings going on, after that, we found out about their "angel share" room where high tech machines give you a free taste of wine!
