cakanator (4), Northampton, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | September 9, 2008 It makes me cry that the best beer store I have ever been to is only an hour away. Amazin belgian and domestic selection and has fully helped my big vertical of JW Lees harvest become a reality. Even their wine section is cool with the credit taps. Amazing. | gameface23 (8), Haverhill, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | August 14, 2008 Great place with a massive selection and excellent prices (when you buy 6 or more beers of any size, they give you a 15% discount off of their already decent prices.) MASSIVE Belgian selection. I was there yesterday looking around and one of the staff was really helpful recommending a few beers to me based on what I like. | | DrBayern (35), Morehead City, North Carolina | | July 31, 2008 Stopped here after having stopped at State Line the day before. It’s a toss up as to which is better, as both are simply superior. Selection here is phenomenal with some West Coast offerings that are pretty hard to find in the East, namely Lost Abbey, and they had about six or seven of their beers. The Belgian slection rivals State Line as well with Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen, and others well represented. Just about every Mikkellar and Nogne O made, and the list goes on and on. Excellent selection of local and regiaonla beers. Service was friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Beer is nicely displayed, well organized, and singles are available. Not too far off I485, but well worth going out of your way to get there. A must stop if you’re in the area. | | LilBeerDoctor (18), East Setauket, New York | | July 29, 2008 The best beer store I’ve been to yet. They have a lot of beer, including lots of rare Belgians and imports (Dieu de Ciel, Nogne, Mikkeller), and an awesome domestic selection (Lost Abbey, Port Brewing, Alesmith, Smuttynose, Southern Tier, Stone, Founder’s, Hoppin Frog, etc). Of course they have a good local selection as well. And lots of cases of stuff. Plus they have an awesome mix a 6 deal where you get 15% off EACH beer for ANY 6 beers (any size). Their pricing is respectable as well. If you are passing even somewhat close to this store, you must stop by!!!! I hear they also have lots of hot sauces. | fredandboboflo (4), East Setauket, New York does not count - explanation | | July 22, 2008 So I don’t rate many places. There’s also really no need to rate this place. But it’s just so awesome. My numbers speak for themselves, really. So many lambics, so many domestic beers that I otherwise would have thought didn’t exist, so much, so much, so much. And assuming you buy in multiples of 6, unbelievable prices. Just go. | maugus4ever (1), Winston-Salem, North Carolina does not count - explanation | | July 1, 2008 By far the best beer store that I’’ve been to. Amazing selection of micro and macros from across the country with a great selection of imports as well. A must visit if you are in the area! | Jblauvs (1), Manchester, New Hampshire does not count - explanation | | June 23, 2008 Went to this beer garden with OteyJ with high hopes. I was rewarded with a vast array of beers from all corners of the country. Picked up some amazing finds, and was treated to some custom service by the assistant beer manager who went to the back room and got us some nogne O and Weyerbacher Riserva. Blew a lot of money here and hope to do it again soon. My cellar is now full again and its thanks to julios. (the hot sauce is good too) | oteyj (8), Canterbury, New Hampshire does not count - explanation | | June 23, 2008 An absolute beer oasis nestled in westborough mass. Liquor, beer, cigar, and hot sauce selection is simply incredible. Well lit and clean- everything is organized well and quite visible. Selection is out of this world- definitely over a thousand verieties here. One guy even stoped to talk to us and after learning our preferances- then proceeded to go to the back and grab a Nogne Impy and Weyerbacher Reserva from a stash- excellent service! Don’t forget to get some hot sauce! | | miketd (25), Cleveland, Ohio | | June 16, 2008 [ Updated July 26, 2008 ] I wish we had more places like this in Cleveland. A virtual warehouse with a great selection. Really get all the local beers there plus most everything else. Nice, well lit display area and helpful staff. Great bottle shop. | | beerbuzzmontreal (14), Montreal, Quebec | | May 22, 2008 Julio’s is a very large store and it’s not only dedicated to beer. The beer section, however is very extensive. A lot of american beers can be found, some Alesmith, Pizza Port / Lost Abber, Ballast Point, Hopping Frog and many others. The belgian section is quite good too. When we were shopping, an employee approached us and offered us to buy bottles of De Dolle Oerbier Reserva, it wasn’t on the shelves since they keep the bottles for true beer geeks. This place is highly recommended. | View Page : 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
