tight, cramped and made me wonder how well the beer was kept - not that they don’t do a good job, but it has the feel of a few places I’ve been that were more about profit than beer and I didn’t see anyone working there willing to discuss beer.

Pretty decent craft brew selection is focused on imports and Michigan micros. Tight floor space, the aisles are not much wider than the cooler doors. Prices seemed average for the area. Did manage to find a couple brews that other area stores were out of. Not the best store in town but worth a stop.

Large store but cluttered and tight in the aisles, I found quite a bit of local bottles here, but the singles selection is better at the Beer Depot. They have a good selection of Belgian, Germans and other imports, and they have the 1L bottles from Sprecher. I only bought a couple of singles that I found in a cooler, but that was more because I was on foot and space was limited. If you’re doing beer in downtown AA, might as well hit this place and see if they have something you want.

A decent selection of common imports and regionals. However, there wasn’t anything here that wasn’t available at Bello Vino or The Beer Depot and the prices did seem higher than Bello Vino. No reason not to stop if you’re in the area though.

Nice selection of michigan micros, and a surprising selection of some vintage brews. Plus they had KRE, and breakfast stout. The back room there, which I’m not sure if customers are allowed into or not, but no one said anything, was fun to pick through. Even if I didn’t really find anything back there. Cool store though, would certainly go back. The hi-light though was the Italian guy bitching to someone that he needed another case of Peroni.

The clientele is definitely interesting at this place, whether 1 am or pm. And, the selection is usually top notch (for Ann Arbor), and slightly cheaper than Beer Depot. A decent selection of local and other Michigan brews.

Great selection, staff is not helpful at all. I called looking for a popular beer from the Dominican Republic, and instead of finding out of he could order it, the guy explained at length how the company could tell me who distributes it, instead of working to make a sale by arranging this himself. Too bad, he lost a sale of probably five cases a month! Other stores in the area are far more willing to give great service to make a sale and earn your business.

The selection here was somewhat sparse though reasonable for a "party store". The coolers were filled with lots of goodies though the prices were somewhat prohibitive. I’m not really sure I saw anything here that wasn’t available at the other stores in the area. Not a bad place overall but it wouldn’t be my first choice if I could only go to one place in Ann Arbor.

Decent bottle selection. More wines and spirits, but there’s some really nice singles in the coolers. If you like random and obscure 40’s, you’ll love this place. I saw some I’d never even heard of before. Kind of expensive. Worth a look if you’re in the neighborhood. Only the one guy working the register when I was there.

as others have mentioned, it really looks like a party store. but it’s got an impressive selection of beer and wine, a selection that only recently has exploded. only a little off the beaten path of the typical ann arbor beer stops, and expensive to boot, but it often has popular or hard-to-find or rare beers still in stock long after other stores have run out. definitely a must-visit. beer aisle is very narrow and on rather high shelves, and the coolers are too cold, but oh well.
