| Optigon (41), Bloomington, Indiana | | May 27, 2008 Pleasant ambiance. Excellent service, very good food. No complaints here. | | Sammy (211), Toronto, Ontario | | January 26, 2007 Party place, hangout at tasters’ area mostly standout. Pourers did not know their beers. Wednesday, art night. | VeniVidiVici (2), St. Clair, Michigan does not count - explanation | | April 22, 2006 Love the food, beer and location. Unfortunately, we had a horrible waitress. But, that is the easiest thing to change. Great Dwarf Beer. | | Tmoney99 (220), Cincinnati, Ohio | | December 22, 2005 Easy to find location near stadiums. Long bar with seating and tables for food and drink. Staff was very freindly and were well trained about their brews. The had ten taps, five of house brews and five mixed. Bottle beer in cooler behind bar. Brews were average to above and all drinkable. Good food menu of sandwichs and pizza. I had one of the pizzas and it was made well and tasty. I was in town for a football game and I will go back if cincy goes to the Super Bowl. | | jtw (26), farmington, Michigan | | November 7, 2005 [ Updated September 22, 2006 ] i like to drop by here every time i’m at a tigers game (i suppose lions games would work too). it’s only a short walk from the stadiums. pretty decent food and pretty decent beer, and pretty decent location and atmosphere. i figure a place is worth visiting if there’s anything decent about it, and the fact that everything is pretty decent makes DBC definitely worth a stop. | Detroiter22 (1), does not count - explanation | | September 14, 2005 I had a great visit to the Detroit Beer Co. Solid line up of beers and the Detroit Dwarf is fantastic. Food was great (especially the jambalaya). I will be going there everytime I am in downtown D-town. | | Brad (16), Royal Oak, Michigan | | July 14, 2005 Great location across from Comerica Park, and nestled closely to Grand Circus Park. Very nice place with lots of seating at the bar, and lots of tables if you are with a bigger party. Decent selection of beer, they usually have 5 of thier own beers on tap, a few in bottles, and some other outside beers. Food is supposed to be good, though I have never eaten anything here. | | JoshuaB (23), Chicago, Illinois | | July 7, 2005 Tucked away on Broadway, this bar is kind of in the middle of Downtown, not around much else. The decor is kinda generic brewpub, I liken it to a TGI Fridays. Service was okay. They have about 6 in house beers on tap and many other macros and some craft brews in bottles. A decent place for Detroit, since most everything there else either sucks or is full of bums and crackheads. | | SuIIy (34), W Newton, Massachusetts | | June 24, 2005 Quality brews with usually 5 on tap at any given time, plus some specialty taps with outside brews. Food was decent, during sporting events you get some good sepcials too. The frickin hot wings are exactly what their name says, beware. |
