Very good selection and a very friendly staff. Good selection of chilled singles and other beers that I could not find elsewhere in Grand Rapids area. A pretty good place with a decent selection. Some of the stuff you can get singles of. They are also getting more belgian’s in stock. They do have a very good selection of Michigan Wine’s. I visited because of ToggleEyes’s posting on RateBeer. I was impressed by the brews available at $1.69. I filled a couple of 6-packs with Stoudts Double IPA, Spaten Optimator, Sierra Nevada Big Foot, Bell’s Rye Stout, Bell’s Consecrator, Victory Hop Devil, etc. Receipt showed details of each beer for a nice check list. A worthwhile stop, but not a mecca for the beerheads. You can buy singles, they have a pretty good selection (not great, but they are well chosen for the most part.) I haven’t talked with anyone there about beer or had any beer questions, so service refers more to the cheery people who check out and answer dumb questions I might have about Dutch cheese.
