Ryan’s Party Store

Ryan’s doesn’t look like much when you walk in but the back of the store is a little piece of beer heaven. There is one long shelf and wall of refrigerators crammed with hundreds of different beers. Lots of American craft breweries represented including Stone, Bell’s, Arrogant Bastard, Rogue, and New Holland, supplemented with a decent selection of Belgians (Rochefort, Chimay etc.) and other European brews. A great place to pick up a great beer and close to the bridge for Canadians searching for brews they can’t get at home.

Not much for ambiance, the place looks like a divvy convenience store. But the staff is super friendly and went out of their way to make us happy. Brian, the owner, cleared out a shopping cart for us and answered a whole ton of questions and made some pretty good suggestions too. Even through in a few freebies with his expert advice. Call ahead for any requests, he’s more then willing to take custom orders. They have some decent selection, but not great.. that being said, custom order and you’ll get what you want if Brian can get it for ya!
