bookman10 (8), Osseo, Minnesota does not count - explanation | | September 30, 2008 Very nice, small, family-owned store. They’re trying to develop a craft beer operation, with tastings and a newsletter, etc., and though it’s starting out small, they’re sticking with it. Excellent service. The selection is rather on the small side, though not bad for the north metro area. Definitely worth checking out. | | Beerking721 (10), , Minnesota | | July 12, 2008 Stopped in last night to pick up some Brew Dog.
The store is clean and well organized. After passing by their macro section, I was pleased to see a nice selection of crafts (6-paks cold and ready to enjoy) and singles including domestic and imports. Pricing was on-par for what I’m used to seeing and the staff working the store was friendly and offered their assistance. The overall experience was very nice.
On a side note... Kudos to Bill for e-mailing me directly to offer his service. It’s quality attention like this that will keep me coming back.
This is one of the premium beer venues in my part of the metro.
| | JK (98), uptown, Minneapolis, Minnesota | | August 28, 2007 I was skeptical by an entry like this, especially as number of beers were not listed. But they do in fact have some beers like Fish Tale and Plank that are kind of rare for the Twin Cities. It is a very nice store just off the Bass Lake rd. exit on 494. Not a very large selection, but there is enough if you are in the area. I saw a sign saying they have tastings. Employees were friendly and several offered to help. It seems to be a family business. The selection of craft beers is maybe 75-100, if you include the Summits and Sierra Nevadas. |
