November 18, 2008 Only eight lanes for bowling but it has a theatre. The beer selection was okay but everything was overpriced, even their local selection. The first two beers I ordered they were out of. If they have an open lane for bowling you should come and check it out, but if you’re just looking for a place to drink there are other options in the area. |

July 6, 2008 This was a nice place with some decent beer on tap and decent prices as well. I didn’t end up trying the food, but it smelled good. At 10 pm on a saturday we were easily able to get a table. Our server was friendly and answered all of our questions. I’d go back here if I ever come up to Minneapolis again. |

March 21, 2008 Where else in Minnesota can you drink Cru Brouscella 1900 Grand Cru and bowl? Always plenty of Bell’s on tap. Sometimes lacking in the locals department, but when you can get a bottle of Rose de Grambinus does it matter? Typical Uptown hipster crowd, but thankfully very few assholes. Cantillon + bowling = cool hangout. |

March 17, 2008 Visited on a Friday evening. Very cool place packed with lots of 20, 30, and 40 somethings. Very hip retro vibe going on. They had a dozen plus tap beers which are pretty good, I had a pint of Surly Furious. There were a half dozen or so bowling lanes, but the waiting list can be long when the place is crowded. I’ve been told that the food is all organic and pretty good, but we didn’t eat. I’ll have to go back next time I’m in Minne. |

March 12, 2007 Visited on a Saturday night. Loved the atmosphere with the bowling alley in back. Plenty of good beer on tap. Great place to hang out and drink with friends. |

January 22, 2007 I liked the vibe here, except for a strange feeling that reminded me of a Wolf Parade concert I once attended wearing no Chuck Taylors or non-prescription glasses and donning no hip handbag. Like the angsty crowd was looking at me thinking, "don’t ruin our scene, asshole." But, they had many fun brews on tap and in bottles. It would be a good place to go when you end up with more people than you expected or wanted. |

December 31, 2006 Bells Batch 7000 says a lot right? Neat little place that has good food and alwys has great brews on tap. Super funky hangout but I like this place alot.
Can be really crowded at times but still no smoking and great beer. |

October 29, 2006 Visited in early October 2006. Pretty damn cool place, looks like it hasn’t been remodeled since the 40s, comfy bar/restaurant are with aged fixtures and a really nice tap selection. I didn’t try the food but my friend who visits often says good things, and no one was bowling when we were there, but atmosphere-wise this place is killer. Good service, just a nice comfy place like the Twin Cities seem to be blessed with in abundance. |

January 10, 2006 It’s not a bowling alley. It’s a beer bar with eight lanes or so. Nice, varied selection though, nice to be able to have Hop Wallop on tap at the bowling aley. Decent food as well. Good place to go if you want to be a young urban hipster who wants to appear retro-cool by bowling a few games. |

January 4, 2006 Visited with Pigfoot and MilkmanDan. A nice spot on a busy street, small and cramped dining and bar area up front with a few bowling lanes within view. Beer selection had a few Belgians, some Victory, and a couple of locals I think. Nice place, but not the typical beer bar - and not just because of the bowling alley - the vibe is more like a diner or cafe than a bar, but it works. |
